CVFD Coverage Areas

The rural community of Christiana is about twelve miles south of Murfreesboro in Rutherford County, Tennessee. Our department currently covers an area of approximately 55 square miles and over 2500 single family dwellings with a growing population of over 6500. This area also includes two public schools, a private school, a nursing home, five miles of CSX railroad, eight miles of Interstate 24, five miles of US highway 231, twelve churches, a gas station, one restaurant, and a wedding chapel. We also provide automatic aid to surrounding districts which includes two truck stops, a firearms and ammunition manufacturing facility, as well as many more homes, schools, and commercial buildings.
